I was searching the net for topics on nutrition, bodybuilding, and women's health and I kept finding this site. Hello to all the fine women here. It seems that there are about ten of you and ten thousand men. I've been trolling through previous discussions on the women's board and you all are very informative and kind. It's great to meet other women so serious about taking care of their bodies. I need to learn how to spruce up my personal space here. I will look around and find out how to post pics. And hello guys. Some of you really crack me up.

Any suggestions for good sites on nutrition info? I found fitday.com. It's great.
 
Info that pertains more to really active people and, of course, weight lifting in general. I've looked on previous posts and they are all informative, but it seems that there is a lot of conflicting ideas about how much protein one needs. I was wondering if there were any good, recent studies out there. I should just do a medline search, but I thought that I would ask here too. And since I'm not in school now I have all this time to talk, talk, talk. Thanks for welcoming me.
 
Welcome X.X I think you'll get some great info here. The medline info is just gonna give you minimum daily requirements etc., here there is no minimum anything, just balls to the wall information from people with experience in these areas: Sometimes a little more info than you really need to hear, but it's all in good fun.
 
I'm very proud right now because this is the first time a woman has said hello and NO ONE said show us your tits!!!!!!!!! Of course it's still early.
