Just heard back from Schlumberger to interview for a Directional Driller job with them.
Might finally be sent down south for some different drilling. Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas are all possibilities. Working out of the Houston office I would have an even better chance of getting offshore then.
One of the perks, their Directional training is in London.

Spend a few winters up here in the canyon here in Colorado at below zero. Winter down there can't be bad.

Cool, bro. Look up Spongebob and his brothers, they're in the refinery end of the biz on the Texas Gulf. I moved out of the mountains in north central PA to the Gulf. I miss the snow and trout fishing but love the nearly year-round scenery.

no Our winters are not bad at all. We have a couple days of really cold weather during the winter but never anything too bad. I was in Denver in March, remember? That was the coldest I have EVER been in my whole entire life. Damn...I just about froze my tits off! lol

It was like friggin 2 degrees there when I went. lol Thats cold compared to our winter. We may have 1 week of temps 20 degrees or below. lol

If you wind up offshore in Louisiana, maybe we can hit up a couple ECHL games, We have the Pensacola Pelicans and the Mississippi Seawolves are over in Biloxi.
