Hell Bent... Hell Bent For Leather!

Black as night. Faster than a shadow.
Crimson flare from a raging sun.
An exhibition of sheer precision.
Yet, no one knows from where he comes.

Fools! Self destruction cannot take that crown.
Dreams! Crash one by one to the ground!

Hell Bent... Hell Bent For Leather!
Hell Bent... Hell Bent For Leather!

I'm coming to see you, Judas Priest!

My room mate was your typical metal head growing up... bout killed him when he found out halford was gay.

Gay or not, Halford rules. Ripper Owens in the lead singer now anyhow....some young bald sexy guy.....but, rumour has it that Halford might show up for the show........Halford is a stand-up guy...I've seen him on many tv interviews...

my room mate? corn? nah...

Hey momma my room mate is actually from here tho... so he was metal head with a big tinge of redneck. So you see why it almost killed him.

How clever you are, so you think, but your accusations are wrong, so please do not proceed to harrass me anymore with those nasty PM'S M.K.

harrassing you?
I don't think so.

What the hell does someone being gay have to do with appreciating their music. Look at Mic Jagger, David Bowie, the Who etc. I could care less about their sexual life just as long as it doesn't effect their artistic integrity.

Exactly my thoughts on Wham. :D

it doesn't... my point being that he was a redneck... altho at the time i didn't realize what i had stumbled into on this thread.

he said he never knew he was gay until about 93 or so... rest of the world figured it out in about 1983.

As a matter of fact I think some of George Michaels solo stuff is nothing but phenominal. Faith, Father Figure etc. I also like Elton Johns music.

... and Cher's and Barbara Streisand's and Ru Paul's...

Hey momma, Lets see if ya know this?

Pounding the world like a battering ram.
Forging the hammer for the final grand slam.
Chopping away at the source soon the course will be done
Leaving a trail of destruction thats second to none.

Hammering Anvils, Screaming Muscle and might.
Shattering blows
Chasing brow beating fright.

Fast Devestating and desolisating the curse
Blasting the cannons of truth through each man of this earth.

Wielding the axe
comes the one culmination
thats always seemed certain
to bring down the curtain on greed

Shifting the good from the bad
Its the age for the rage of the
dogs which must fall to the just
and be free

Now grate for the vandels
who trampled and sampled
till the place conditioned
brought forth demolition to war.

The slipping and sliding, corrosive subsiding
that whithered and wasted till the world seemed all
drained fills the bay.

Pounding the world like a battering ram
Forging the furnace for the final grand slam

Chopping away at the source
soon the course will be done
Leaving a trail of destruction thats
second to none!

Those tattoos on my arms are of "The Metallion" and Judas Priest symbol from the 80's

They're coming here next week. This is the first time I'll be seeing them. Rumour has it Halford may show up for a tune. I hope so.

I'd have to say Sad Wings Of Destiny is my fav album....Rocka Rolla is great too.....all their albums rock though, except I haven't heard the newest one.

Tell ya the truth..I like ripper but it's just not the same without Halford. I saw them a few weeks ago and its still a great show. My big prob is now that Halford is gone..Tipton is doing all the lyrics and hes just not as good. If anyone should be doing the lyrics it should be Ripper so he can sing from the heart instead of singing someone elses words. Actually the best Judas Priest album in years is Halfords own Ressurection Album. If you don't have that get it. My fav song off Rocka Rolla is Run of the Mill. I love the laid back fell of that and the build at the end. Sad Wings my fav song is deffinitely Dreamer Deciever. I have a pic of me n Halford when I was like 18. I caught up with him at a place called Bogarts on the Turbo Lover tour. Very cool guy. I hope he does show up for the show you will be at. That would be a great moment to see him and ripper sound one off. By the way when you see them at the show. Tell me what ya think of rippers "Sparly mirror jacket" lol.

Yes, I was reading up on Halford and saw his album...I think I will get it....I just love him.....I agree with what you said about who should right lyricd and such....I agree that Ripper should be writing his own words and singing them......
Sparly mirror jacket? Sounds like disco...lol....Ripper looks like a decent guy and very intelligent......I wonder if he is..

Er..hee hee.. I meant sparkly. :) Ripper was in a group called "Winters bane" before priest picked him up. Hard group with a little edgier feel then priest. Do pick up the Halford Ressurection album. I guarentee you will love it. His group really sounds like the priest of old. When Glenn and KK changed their guitars form the old flying V and Gibson SG it really changed their sound. (Turbo and After) Halfords group sounds around the Screaming for Vengeance era priest. His lyrics are right on track (very visual)

You can't find it? They are in the middle or re releasing all their albums with bonus tracks. Unleashed in the east has the bonus tracks, Hell bent for leather, Rock forever, Delivering the goods and Starbreaker. It was actually released like this years ago in Japan but was called Beast In the East. Yes awesome Live album :)
