Heat and long-term storage effects on gear

I have some test prop and EQ that I've been storing for awhile (about 2 1/2 years). All of the prop expires later this year. Some of the EQ expired in 2/06, and the rest expires next month. It was never in direct sunlight, but it did spend a couple of months in a room that got hot - 100+ degrees during the day. Nothing is crystalized or cloudy. Is it worthy of use, or is it better to replace everything and start fresh?
