Hearing about Father's Day is a drag when your father is no longer here

I'm sorry for all of the men/women who lost their fathers. It's a sad day in our household too. The Old Grump has four children, eight total if you count my four. He is prevented from fathering all eight. I just want to go to sleep today and wake up monday morning.

That sucks.

It gets better for me too. My only sibling, my brother, passed away about 5 years ago.

June 21st was his birthday. :(

i shall be re-posting my annual father's day thread tomorrow.

"the older i get the smarter he becomes".

just sayin :(

agreed, bro. seeing the father's day commercials on tv, or seeing people picking out greeting cards at the store just makes it worse. keeps reminding you, whether you wanna think about it or not. kinda like this thread.... i'm with you, tho. :(

I'm really sorry.

I don't know what to say that would be of comfort to anyone. :(

there really isn't anything anyone can say to make it better, other than what you just did.... just knowing that someone cares, even if it's for someone you've never met, is the greatest form of comfort you could give. thank you.
