The reason is the phrase "from aas". Isolating steroids as the causative variable is very difficult. As for mental illness/psychosis, these stories are usually in teenagers, and teenagers are crazy anyway, and often abuse drugs and alcohol. As for heart attacks, it is difficult to separate aas from poor family histories, cholesterol or diet problems, etc. In general, aas ruin your cholesterol, so watch that. Mental control is up to you.
