he's definetely trying...and he's gotten better. Less needy, less whiney.
if you take step back and forget the fact that he's ridiculous for coming on here and asking advice, but never taking it...(ok, that's not easy to forget/forgive considering how much time we've invested to help the kid)
he's actually made significant strides. think he's starting to get rid of some of the terrible programming he was conditioned with..slowly but surely.
my guess though is, he'll revert back to his old self within a few months of dating this girl. happens to most people who finally "kinda" get it

he's real. there's no way you have a myspace and have that many active friends /comments etc to be an alter.
