Heading to Mexico from Phoenix, where to go?

I am moving to Phoenix from the midwest in about a month. I want to start taking trips to Mexico and getting gear. Can anyone help me on where to go from phoenix (Not directions, but what towns/cities etc..) Also how much can I bring back, that if I got coaught would not send me to the pokey..

cant answer about cities near new mexico but i can tell you that if you get popped w/gear period it wont be pretty, now 1 vial they may just slap your hand but a cycle worth of gear fa get about it...its too dangerous if you ask me, unless of corse you get a "runner"

nogales is ur best bet..its about 2 1/2 hours south..be careful though..i get searched almost everytime and im not all that big lookin

Searched on the way back over the border you mean? Also, what is the best way to get your gear back? If I have a secret compartment in the vehicle would that work since drug dogs should not be able to smell vials right?

I have been to Nogales dozens of times, driven, walked over and never got searched once. I am quite large at 218 and 5'10 with little fat.

It is all in how you dress and look. If you dress and act like a body builder or look like the punk next door you will get searched.

I just came across today no problem.

Just don't go to the pharmecies right inside the gate. Go south for a couple of blocks then turn west and go 1 block then go south again. Shop in those pharmecies and don't carry large bags of shit around either. Also, buy some stuff to declare on the way back. And use common sense.
