High Intensity, once I was chosen to be the Lead man in a "quinciera", I know I spelled that incorrectly. Its when a young hispanic girl turns 15, I was the only white person that was part of the ceremony and the only white person part of the entire celebration, they thought Susan was a weird hispanic to choose a white boy to be the Lead man in such a big celebration, especially the importance that it is associated with this event, I got mean eyes from older hispanics, bad looks here and there, heard comments about "why did Susan choose a white dude ese?", but I also got head from the finest 15 year old hispanic female that was behind me in our dance line after the entire thing was over, that made it all better, she was short, but cute. I also picked up a bean soup recipe that to this day gives me the squirts, its good though. Quinciera's are a learning experience. peace
