HcG/Nolvadex for low test

Haven't done anything for over a year and recently (about 2 months ago) started developing a lump underneath my left nipple. Aware of what was going on I went to see an endocrinologist (hormone doctor) and a few days ago got my blood work back. My test level came back as 186 ng/dl. My normal levels are supposed to be in the 600 range (I'm 27). The doctor is having me get a second opinion at Stanford, but wants to prescribe me 6 months of HCG and Nolvadex for the low test and nipple. Any advice or thoughts on this one guys? He also ordered more blood work for prolactin levels. Should know more about the prolactin levels in a few days.

There are over the counter supplements that work 10 times better then those...

How so? Both are human grade pharm stuff proven to work? What are these over the counter suppliments you speak of that could do the job better?

Nolvadex is garbage imo... sustain alpha, novadex xt, hardcore test and unleashed... tell me how you feel after 2 weeks of taking those

Its hard to argue with science, but we'll see what happens. My doctor is well renowned and is highly recommended by many people, so I trust his opinion.

This post is out dated but felt a need to post since CK gave HORRIBLY naive or misleading advice .No OTC supplement will be more effective than pharmaceuticals, except in rare cases where gross amounts of supplements are taken.

Your doctor is correct in stating Nolvadex and HCG will increase natural test with hypogonadism symptoms. This will be a stop gap measure prior to HRT. I personally would get a retest on blood in 3 weeks and do HRT for a short period of time.
