I'm "guessing" that it's probably not completely ruined. What temperature was it left at? Obviously the cooler the better. Some degradation of the peptide would have occurred I assume but not to the point where it's ineffective.

It's the fact that if it was warm enough for a period of time where bacteria can start to grow in it. Then it is ruined. That's why you should use bacteriostatic water where bacteria can't grow at all. Hence it will last ALOT longer as long as its refrigerated.
