whats up guys? OKAY here's the situation. Been doing juice unsafely for 3 years off and on now in terms of going on TOO long and being off TOO short. so as a result im paying the consequence DAMN! haha. i finally got my test levels checked and they're were SUPER low.....we're talking 67 total test when i should be 250 to 800. im 22 years old, being that low scared me so i went back on and back on i stayed for a period of 20 weeks ouch. OKAY so im off again. i waited 4 weeks to get my blood drawn for a blood test to see where my levels were. being on so long i expected to be at 0 total test. The longest acting ester i took was enanthate from TEST 400 and that's only 2 weeks. My results came back and said i was at 240 total test? WTF! makes no sense. My free test was HIGH like 70 and normal is 40.

ANY explination for this?

Doctor prescribes me 70,000 IU's of HCG WTF! 6000 IU every other day. 28 days of therapy. I read that if HCG is taken in too high of a dosage or too long of a duration you will PERMANENTLY not respond to it in a later treatment. I plan on juicing again and to me it looks like a last ditch effort to get those levels up to normal. is he crazy? I plan on doing juice again and using HCG agian so im scared of taking this amount

ahhhh yeah 6,000ius eod is pretty extreme. But if thats what your doctor said to do...then do it i guess. I mean....1000ius eod might sound a little more reasonable, but Im not a doctor.

Medical literature for HCG is out of date, typically high doses are suggested / prescribed where not necessary. I've discussed this with Jenetic (who has first hand experience), I think desensitisation issues have been exaggerated but there is a possibility. Take a look at Dr. Shippen's HCG protocol (he’s a highly regarded expert in the field). It involves low dose shots (about 300 to 500 IU) at bedtime, 2 to 5 times a week depending upon your responsiveness. This protocol more closely mimics the body's natural physiological rhythm of LH production. You should be able to find plenty more on the net about this. Have your testes notably decreased in size?

The HCG will get your balls plump - improving the capability to pump out test but the “fuel to the engine” LH / FSH will need to be kick started to keep your natural production flow in range.

Do you have your LH / FSH levels, following your last blood test. If so are they are very low? (LH / FSH provide the stimulus to get your natty production back in action, they are the “fuel” your balls are “the engine”).

Also you’ll need to get E2 checked as I guess that’s high and suppressing LH / FSH due to negative feedback.. However your free test was good, suggesting SHBG (elevated via E2) is not greatly inhibiting production, this is unusual but could be due to rebound / body is adjusting and trying to maintain free test in ratio with the overall low testosterone output – were you taking an AI with your cycle? That would be one explanation for the fluctuation.

You’ll need some more thorough blood work to see where things are heading.

Additionally Clomid and Arimidex are likely requirements coupled with the HCG and I’d discuss with your doc an amended dosage based on the Shppen info.

I'm with you on this one. Questioning your doctors opinion would be a good idea in this case. He may not be keeping up with his CE.

I've seen really good results of testicular regrowth on 500iu's ed or 1000iu's eod for a period of 10 days (10,000iu's total). Those doses sound unnecessarily high - I would use the lowest dose that works. If I were you, I would ask the doctor why he/she is dosing your HCG that high and find out the reasoning. It might be that they are following an out of date protocol, or that's just what they heard. Or they might actually have a very good reason. But from everything I have read, that sounds unnecessarily high, so I would definitely question it.

The HCG therapy seems a bit much, I would at least add nolvadex to that ED just to be safe. IMO, EF is not a place for medical advice, so I would go with what your doctor said first, just take all the necessary steps to protect yourself.

My unique problem is that I did 2 cycles of Deca and was told that HCG was the same as Clomid....as you can guess I was shut down VERY hard. Very low test level, as well as LH, and FSH.......

Been nearly 3 months since my last HCG shot....Started Tomaxophine Citrate over a month later (too late ?) and have been on it for about 7 weeks. Erections have gotten a little better, but NO SEX DRIVE and feel lethargic and moody.....Will my test return back to normal or does doing HCG w/ no Clomid or Nolva immedietly afterwards permanently shut you down ??


how long should I wait and does Nolvadex (Tomaxo ) further supress libido ?? Should I possibly run HCG or possibly even Test again ? Need advice since I have an endo appt. in a month and do NOT want to go on TRT or HRT. I'm 31 BTW.

Is this doctor just a general care physician? You should definitely question him as to why he chose that therapy...... I'd definitely look around for another opinion... maybe an endocrinologist... either way, get another opinion....

Did you tell him about your AAS use? If you did not, this dose is what the med texts indicate to treat endogenous hypogonadism and this is what he thinks you have. This is one situation where you need to be upfront with your MD. This dose does sound too high for exogenous hypogonadism. Fess up before you get a chemical orchiectomy.
