I mocked and derided it for a while the first time I watched it - here's the I'm-an-edgy-HBO-show characters, here's the same ol' fucking soap opera conventions etc. But that was just 'cos my girlfriend was making me watch it. It's a great show and I got hooked and I've watched every episode.

I love that show. I'd put it right up there with The Sopranos. I can't wait to see Road to Perdition - another Alan Ball creation.

I give the show a thumbs up..and considering my family owns a funeral home and I work there...my endorsement of the show's believeability and authenticity are on the mark..you wouldn't believe the unsual situations we find ourselves in..and there are alot of homosexuals in this business..seems every other funeral director we hire is gay..myself.I'm much like Nate...i work out,lose my cool occassionally and always seem to have g/f problems..the writers for the show are definitely receiving some inside input from those in the biz...as you may have picked up from the series,the biz has taught me more about life and living,than death and dying

Who has seen this show? I have only watched 2 episodes, and I thought they were both really great. A lot of dark humor... it was great overall.

I love love love it, can't wait for next season.
