Having trouble

I can't get MSN chat to work on my computer. It worked before I downloaded DirectX 8.1, could that be the problem?

Try uninstalling direct x and see what happens.

Never used MSN or any IM so...
Without any other info such as what it is or isn't doing I would ..

Run the latest Windows Service Pack as Active x install tends to overwrite stuff.

Check the MSN site to see if they recommend/support Active X ver 8.x
Maybe they have a patch.
Is there any Software to reinstall for the MSN IM you can try ?


If that doesn't work the only other thing you can do is to
take some Pic's of your Legs and post them...

You don't need to unistall anything. Just update MSN messenger to the latest version. If that doesn't work give me more info and I promise I'll get it working for you. What version of MSN are you running? Version of IE? and Windows?

I don't think it's because of a firewall. She had it working before, directx 8 either over wrote a file or isn't compatible with her version of MSN Messenger or I.E.
