i was watching the Known Universe on cable or soemthing and they were talking about gamma ray bursts that were within a few hundred light years of earth that would rip our planet apart. i was thinking hooly fuck that is powerful and shit.
even iun about 5 billion years our sun will go either supernovba or turn into a red giant and swallow (no homo) earth with its power and all life would end as we know it.
