There are numerous people with my name.

At least one has a Wikipedia entry, more than one have Facebook accounts and there seem to be a couple of doctors with my name. If I keep browsing I usually come across court documents about lawsuits I have fought. One mention of me in an ombudsman report about naughty telco's.

I'd rather keep my anonymity and relative obscurity.

pretty much same with me. I am nowhere to be found on google amongst the myriad of folks with my name though, and I like it.

Depending on the combo of search criteria - you get a myriad of press releases on different publications' website that I've written, or lots of race results, my Twitter feed, LinkdIn account - you can search my old name from here and still pull up a few things...
