Have I been scammed???????

I am not mentioning any names here!

This is the situation and I just want some opinions. Some things seem very fishy. I placed an order with this domestic source on the 14th of Aug. I checked him via a ref (NO ONE FROM ELITE) I was told before the order was placed of a 10 day turaround. The money was picked up the same day. On Aug 29th (with no package) I sent a polite email asking when the order was shipped and have gotten no reply. I also emailed the ref asking if he was having any problems and again no reply. The auto responder for his list no longer works. My plan is to email him again at weeks end and give him another week or two and then label him scammer......Any thoughts?

Well you've already emailed him a few times, emailing him more out of anxiety, desperation, or frustration won't do any good. Either he'll respond to the emails you've already sent to him or he won't respond to any more of your emails at all. If you're worried, I'd check with the person who referred you to him and see if he knows anything. Find out if there are any others in the same boat as you and see if there is any reasonable explanation to it being late and your emails not being returned within a few days. So find out what you can from those who know your source and relax. If you got scammed you will have plenty of time to label him a scammer. If you didn't your patience will pay off.

Did you even read the whole post? I sent 1 email on the 29th to the source and I also said I emailed the ref both with no reply....
