Think of it this way.

4 white guys kick the crap out of a black guy...it equals a hate crime.

4 Mexican guys kick the crap out of a white guy it equals business as usual.

4 black guys kick the crap out of a white guy it equals business as usual.

Anytime the law selects one group of people to protect from another group of people in this country it is bullshit....If all Americans are created equal under the law...this should not undermine that fundamental idea..

Its because Americans, whom I'm assuming your talking about, as a society have become over simpathetic towards minority groups and how we should treat others rather then focusing on our own collective (all races) selves. Basically we need to stop viewing each other as African Americans, Mexican Americans and just be Americans. Who cares what race you are as long as your American that's what matters. No offense to anyone on this thread that's not American, if for some reason you take offense.

I agree.
Everyone has a reason for doing what they do. Why should one persons give them a stronger sentence then anothers?
