Our October was pretty chilly too. Low single digits for most of it. Very unusual for here.

Pretty warm right now though, about high 20's low 30's, but the wind is supposed to kick up to as much as 80mph by tonight.

The last few days of work it rained, then turned into snow. When it cleared up the temperature dropped to about 7 degrees and the rig froze up on all the Florida boys. I think it is winter now

Right now it's not too much different than the north west states, sun goes down around 5:30pm and comes up around 8:30am.

Our days will continue to get shorter until Dec 21 though, when we will have only about 4 hours of sunlight. Then the days will get longer until June 21 where we will have about 2 hours of semi-dark and 2 hours of dusk.
