Has this ever happened to you?

Have you ever gained so much weight so quickly that your body wasn't adjusted to it? I gained about 20+lbs in two months and everywhere I walked my calves would just burn. On my way to class I would have a calf workout, almost collapsing sometimes. I know a lot of you have cycled before, so you must have put on this kind of mass quickly, so how was it?

I just did the same, put on 25lbs in 10 weeks, but hasnt affected my calves at all....strange problem though...is it still bugging you?

i am in the SAME boat bro...

i put on 15 lbs in 8 weeks...and every time i go to class in the mornings my claves are BURNING!!!

i've had a similar problem. for example, it's more difficult to climb stairs. my calves tire quickly using a jump rope, jogging is stressful on my calves, shins and knees and i get winded faster. having said that, it's possible to work on GPP and correct these problems... something i should do more often.

It's a very common side effect on certain muscles which haven't been developed as much. Then all of the sudden, there is a increase in muscles mass/blood flow to those muscles fibers which causes the cramps etc...

I'm completely fine now it doesnt bother me at all, it feels get when you get used to the new weight.

Yeah, finding bigger clothes is a p.i.t.a.

I think i really need to throw away all my old Mediums... instead of saving them for "some day." lol

lol, i keep saving my old jeans thinking that i'll fit into them later.
me too man.

I had some really comfortable ones :(

... maybe some day, i'll squeeze my ass and thighs back into the 30-32 sizes I have, lol

I was 135 last year when I went on a shopping spree, today I weight almost 190;). Doesn't mean I don't wear the the shirts(no jeans) it just means my bicep is bulging out of it lol

lol, buy some new clothes.

Stop taunting the bicep curling crew.... unless you're their leader ;)

As I get larger I buy new clothes and get rid of the smaller ones so I'm motivated to keep the size. Nothing looks worse than wearing clothes that are too big for ya.

I gained 19 pounds and my calves burn up also and knees hit harder when running. When jumproping in MMA my calves and ankles kill me. Yeah, all my clothes don't fit me anymore. My jeans look so tight on me. And all my clothing is italian and $200 a piece. To change my wadrobe it will cost me like $3,000

Now you know why bodybuilders wear elastic pants and T's most the time.
