Has anyone here tried Actovegin? what were your results? What does anyone know about this stuff?

I was thinking of giving it a shot for recovery and endurance purposes for MMA training.

Its is Derived from calves blood 8 months of age or less and has shown to have insulin like qualities,one of the more Positive sides is is the treatment of peripheral artery disease and strokes.
Don't know why since its not approved by the FDA is is on the Athletic banned list,so if you think you might get tested forget about it!
There are better things out there.

I guess I was attracted to the actovegin b/c it would not impact shut down. I don't know much about IGF so I will take a look at that. HGH is great but I would have to sell your wheel-chair to afford it!

Yes have used it the effect is very mild but noticable, EPO is much better,the effects of both seem to be amplified with B12 and Iron tabs
