Has anyone had a bad experience with Active Release?

Every post that I've seen gives A.R.T. the highest praises. I'm just wondering if anyone had a bad experience with it or it didn't help them. I'm considering having it done but the only provider close to me is about 45 miles away. This means I would have to take time off from work for each treatment session and would be a huge inconvenience. Anyway, does anyone have anything bad to say about it?

I've got my first ART seminar this thanksgiving, so I've been pretty involved with studying it lately...the musculoskeletal principles it's based on are proven-i think it's the perfect bridge between massage and chiropractic...and it's expensive as shit to get certified in, so whoever you go to must be running a decent practice to afford it...

Was worthless for my shoulder, actually made it hurt more. Everyone is different though, and it worked great for my friend. Hopefully it will work great for you.
