How was it, and are they actually as legit/credible as you'd like to believe? They seem like a good route to take for someone already working full time looking to get another bachelor's. The programs sound convenient and flexible.

I think they work pretty well for people that actually want to learn something. I don't know how much they really help if you're competing for a job though.

Devry is very expensive! I am in U of Phoenix now scraping by with a 3.11 GPA. A lot of my classmates (80%) are military people all over the globe. I know peeps with good paying jobs that went there.

i took all online classes when i was playing baseball in college and paid peeps to do the classes for me.. so i was living the good life..

Devry for IT is a full program. The entire degree was like $50-60K. They wouldn't give me a price for having 2 yrs of college.

this is what i should have done. instead i paid tons of money to go to a private school and get a psych degree, and didnt really make many friends or have much fun in the process.

My sister received a Bachelor's, online, from the UofA?, Phoenix about a year ago. She did have almost three years of credits built up from a university already, most of which transferred. It was in Business Administration so her full time employer payed for 100% of the tuition in exchange for a five year committment to the company. When she received the degree, she was given a supervisory position immediately...so, for her, it paid off very well.

I think it's worth the effort to see if your employer will foot any percentage of the tuition in exchange for, not only your future employment dedication, but a higher pay scale.

approx $1500 per credit hour, pretty expensive too.

Suckers!

My Mickie D's job didn't cost me a cent to acquire.

Not sure - I took some online courses for my MBA program - Dont you think that in the future more degree/schools will be online?
