Has anyone bought Pink Floyd's new CD?

Love Floyd but don't know what songs are on there.....Anyone know what some of the songs are on the CD, and if you've already bought it, is it worth it?

I was wondering about this too. I mean, from what I hear, it's just a compilation of their old stuff. There's nothing new on it. So what's the big deal?

I don't see what the big deal is either, but, I might get it....it's just a greatest hits thing....christ, I've got a load of cd's of them already......album even!!!

yeah it is a compilation....Floyd will never reunite, too many differences, but I was just curious if Dark Side of the Moon, wish you were here, etc was on the new cd.

they have alot of material, so buying the cd would be worth it if it contains a good variety.

I love wish you were here and such...
I dunon...go look it up on the net...it should tell you there, in case nobody here knows

wish you were here-----one of my all-time favorite songs, sums up the whole essence of life-----yearning.

I think it's primarily Dark Side and The Wall. But I don't know. It just smacks of someone putting an old product in new wrapping and schlepping it out to make more money. Too cynical?

I agree.....I have their albums and cd's I like.....but, I still might get sucked in....but, I do not like when artists do that..

true.......I came of age listening to Pink Floyd........takes you to another dimension, no other band has ever had that kind of effect on me.

but if they ever reunited they'd looked tired like Aerosmith, the Eagles, Rolling stones, etc.

...when the music has died, its died......some things are left best untouched.

Many of us did. I'm kinda surpised (happily) that someone of your age has an appreciation for them. My first beer, first bong hit, and countless other shenanigans were all done listening to Floyd. And they were not exactly "new music" then either.

what a long strange trip I had many many nights listening to Floyd while in college.......those were the days. Their music opened up a whole new dimension to the world.

I can still here the words, "iiiiiiiii, i've become... comfortably numb."

I admit, it is tempting. Now that I think of it, all the Floyd I have is on, God help me, cassette tape!! This might be a good investment after all.
