Has anyone asked a coworker out?

Thinking of pulling it off. The chick is pretty fine. And I know I have a 90 percent chance of success, but if I do get rejected, then it will be kinda uncomfortable to see her everyday at work. Has anyone pull this off , successfully?

Yes, and No.

The yes became a curse once I had enough of her, and the no was a bum out as she told all the office staff about it. I told them I felt sorry for her, so asked her out to make her feel good about being on anti-depressants. (she wasnt, but I was desperate for an out).

Remember the saying: Dont screw the crew!

goes for workmates, flatmates etc. once it is over, you have to see them everyday, forever till you or they, move on.

but if shes hot, hell, why not...

That may also be one reason why over 45% of new marriages end in divorce...

80% of divorced couples when interviewed, wished they were still with their original mate....

Yarg is it a job you like? If yes then don't do it. If you could care less about the job then go for it.

and only 14% of failed domestic aquaintences suffer from unintentional misconceptions.

only? You make it sounds so little.

lol.

I am married to a former co-worker, a former boss actually. :)

Worked out famously ... although it certainly had it's TOUGH moments. Had fun moments too .... making out in his office, for example. :)

Probably not something to do for a quick one-night lay, but if you think you could date this girl, could be worth it.
