On another message board a guy was looking at New Zealand's interest rates for things like savings accounts & term deposits. Some of the term deposits offer rates around 8% for a 5 year deposit. He wants to know how easy it is for a foreigner (I think he lives in america) to open an account in New Zealand. I don't know if you'd know, but since you seem to know alot about New Zealands banking system you might have some info for him.
