Handbag envy

That's a cute purse! I'm afraid I'm too utilitarian with my purses. It's gotta be small but still hold all my stuff. I am always on the quest for the ultimate purse. The problem is that I don't want to have an extra huge bag to drag to work in addition to my computer bag / briefcase and when I go out I have a tiny little pouch thingy for credit cards, driver's license, cash, car keys, chapstick & well, anything I "might need" for a night of fun. ;)
 
Well you could technically use it for 2 seasons-- spring and summer. So really, you're saving money by getting it. lol That's the sort of thing I'd say to myself if I was lusting after it. :lmao:
 
You should REALLY check out Ebay for stuff like this (at least check there before going to buy it retail). I have found so many designer things (handbags, shoes, clothes, jewelry, makeup, etc.) in "new with tags" condition and usually pay 1/4-1/3 what I'd pay retail.

No, it's not wrong to have seasonal handbags. (I have a gorgeous one for cool weather...it's a Black Walnut Vera Bradley, big enough to hold notebooks.)

I'm lusting after the new silk itty bitty limited-edition Vera Bradley bags in spring/summer pinks and greens...they've got the old-fashioned clasps with wrist straps. I haven't convinced Maj yet that I need one, but give me time...

I saw someone carrying that purse today and thought of you. I usually hate pink, but this year it just seems kind of refreshing. Also, people tell me I look good in it.

Damn this thread. Prior to this thread I wasn't thinking about handbags. I wasn't lusting after them. Now it seems that I've caught some sort of "handbag fixation" bug because I'm spending my free moments at work surfing the net for the perfect bag.
 
Guilty as charged...I have already splurged on TWO, not one...pink bags in the past month. Ugggghhh! Now I want some pink Enzo pumps I saw. :(
