surgery is set for fri, sat, sunday...can lift upperbody in 3 weeks as long as I don't touch my hand, no cast. I will be fully back in 7-8.

I don't think I would want to go to heavy with that hook thing. remember your hand will be basically ironed up and any contact would hurt it more no?

I don't know how well that thing will work. Maybe you will be able to do some maintance work but deffinatly no chest or going balls to the wall. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Hey maybe they have new technology out today, i'm going by things i'v seen, and read. i'v known 4 or 5 people that had smaller brakes, not full brakes like yours, and they were out for a good 6 months....yes i still think that it is crazy if he says you'll be back to 100% in 7-8 weeks...especially with pins in your hand...but hey, if you are, that's tight...i hope you are.

Damn, 7-8 weeks is good bro, I had my cast on for 12-13 weeks. It covered my right thumb and went up my forearm... that SUCKED.
