Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Ok so my hair has kinda sorta been falling out for the past 3 years or so. I think it might be partially cause of my allergy medicine but I get sick if I dont take it, I also took acutane when I was younger and have naturally high levels of testoterone.. and my grandfather and uncle were both totally bald... so yea I'm totally screwed. Anyone have any reccomendations as far as treatment that might actually work. I havent really tried anything yet but I'm thinking rogaine is the first step? Any info, reccomendations of products is helpful.

Rogaine is typically used for the bald spot in the back of the head , although some say it works in the sides (hairline) . I would start off Finasteride (propecia or proscar are the brand names, proscar being cheaper as its 5x the dosage and you can cut the pill up), then you want to use something like Nizoral shampoo and Spironolactone cream to block dht at the scalp.

I guess I have a slowly receding hair line.. I cant see that its doing too much but there is a difference in the past few years, its more of an overall thinning of the hair on top. Not a big problem YET just want to nip it in the butt before it becomes one.
