I believe Saw Palmetto lowers DHT levels, but finasteride and dutasteride would be better options. Nizoral and Nioxin shampoo can also help w/ thinning.

Finasteride can lower sex drive, muscle hardness, and gains for that matter. I'd go with Saw Palmetto extract and topical dht inhibitors mixed with minoxidil. Mix some GLA, ALA, and azeleic acid in your minoxidil and you'll be golden.

You're one of the lucky ones. I would not recommend dutasteride to anyone.

The difference is that duta. inhibits both types of dht while finasteride only inhibits one type.
