Hair Loss, Proscar and Propecia

I think that this board is by far the best.

Today i got in my hands Proscar (Finasteride 5mg). Unfotrunatelly i could not get Propecia (Finasteride 1 mg).

As you already know, Proscar is used mainly for the treatment of Benign Prostate Enlargement by lowering the level of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Synergically, the lower levels of DHT help to reduce the male pattern baldness.

I am in a cycle of 400 mg DECA and 750 mg of Testosterone Enanthate each week for 8 weeks. My hair is thin and i have already developed a slight male pattern baldness .

My question is the following:

According to the above mentioned dosage should i split proscar at 4 pieces and take one piece per day or should i go for higher doses?

there is a big thread with 80 posts about this topic just below.......but to answer your question quickly I would split it in 4, since studies have shown that the extra 4mgs of fina in proscar wont do much more than the 1 mg of propecia.

Yes split it in 4, 1.25mg/day is enough. But Deca and Proscar together is a no-no.

I wouldn't stack test and deca together in a cycle if I was susceptible to MPB.

I am not predisposed to MPB, but when I combined proscar and tren I started losing hair like crazy. The same thing will happen to you if you take deca and proscar together. If you used Eq instead of deca there would be no problem with using proscar.
