how was she as a person then ?
did she have emotional swings then?

I did know this girl before the rape. We were really close friends. She was never clinically depressed, never really had emotional swings. She was just a normal girl. I do know that her and her b/f had become or were becoming intimate before she killed herself.. but i dont know the effect that had on her.

I would reccomend you to see some form of professional help. Maybe you could find closure in that.

I have lost friends in my life and it is always difficult. Only you know what is right for you. When and if you ever go to seek help, keep the emphasis on what the INCIDENT did to impact you. Social Professionals have a keen way in turning things around. Good luck and my heart is with you.

My girlfriend was raped and abused by her dad when she was 6-10 years old and sure she has some problems but she would never consider killing herself no matter what. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel and who knows what would have became of her life if she hadn't taken it.

My prayers are with her....
