Had a carb-up day today....

I had a carb up day today and I felt great! I got sick of eating so many sweet foods like ice cream, cookies, cereal, yogurt, chocolate topping, condensed milk and malto post-workout...ahhhh and 1 serving of brown rice with tuna and cottage cheese before bed. Total 700gr of carbs... Next time I will add more complex carbs throughout the day and some fruits.
I dont look bloated at all
All the food was fat free and I didnt use flax oil
I already take lot of flax seed oil on my non carb-up day...4 to 6 tbls per day mixed with my ground meat and veggies
Although I love the low carb diet I still wanna try Animalbolics soon
How often do u guys carb-up? Im doing it every 7 days but I read an artcile on a magazine saying that in 4 days your leptin levels are low but only for people that consume 50-100gr of carbs daily
 
Usually i like to carb-up or refeed every 4th day when dieting hard and maybe every 7th or 8th day when in maintence or cals/carbs arent reduced all that much.

In the summer though, i usually will only carb up once a week so bloating doesnt occur much. Once you start carbing regularly i think you will notice some water retention/bloating and it will become a pain in the ass if you want to look you best for days going to the beach or when you will be unclothed
 
hehe i just did my carbup day too. 2nd carbup for me in my diet. I learned a lot from the first one. Today i ate about 70% carbs, 20% prot and 10% fat. NO simple carbs and toward the end of the day low GI carbs. Felt good but had a hard time eating 4800cals and 800g of carbs =(

I'm bloated now =(
 
good shit bros! i love carb-up days! i had one last thursday, and this thursday coming up. i usually stay really strict and eat oatmeal and lean meats. i get about 80-100g of carbs a meal with 700mg of ALA per meal. i eat about 6-7 times a day.

sometimes i overdue it and eat a whole pizza and shit; but even on carb up days if you stay disciplined you will achieve better fullness the next day.
 
i usually have carbs in 1- or 2 meals a day.. keepin my carbs low..

i dont have a strict carb up day.. but i usually have 1 cheat meal per week

but i felt i needed a carb up day today... had 5 baegals.. not at one time of course..

and i had no flax, and very little if any fat..i feel good though.. just kinda guilty about all the carbs..
