Before you go purchasing various supplements, take a look at your current nutritional intake as it is important to know what your macro values are if your progress has slowed or stopped. In some cases, supplements can help but they are their to 'supplement' an already existing healthy eating schedule. In the case of creatine, it will not work in the way you expect unless you can support it with solid nutrition. In your situation, it may be as simple as adding an extra bowl of oatmeal, a chicken breast, and some fruit to get your progress moving again, so have a look at this first and you might save yourself some money and time.

- determine what your current macro (carbs, protein, fat) values are on a daily basis
- determine your level of physical activity
- determine your daily caloric requirements for that specified activity level
- set a goal (ie: bulk, cut)
- adjust your nutritional intake to help you achieve your goal
- adjust your level of physical activity if necessary
- research supplements and use them if necessary and appropriate
