GYNO -- is it rarer than I think?

I've done a number of cycles, some lasting as long as 5 months using about 600 mg's of test per week (sust or cyp or enanthate) and have never had a problem with sensitive nipples or gyno, either while on it, or while coming off. I always keep nolva handy in case it DOES happen, but, thankfully, it hasn't.

So my question is: is gyno rarer than we're led to believe, told as a cautionary tale? or am I just one of the lucky ones who hasn't had any problems yet?
