I did chest today, and for the first time ever i was suposed to do machine bench press. so i sit down and start pressing. andi notice that it hits my right side more than my left. and the reason is that the cable that pulls the weight is fastened to only the right side..so ofcourse there will be more stress on that side..what kinda moron makes that kinda equipment?

Girly engineers with horn rim glasses and pocket protectors who sucker fools like you into using pieces of shit like this! WTF?

shut up fosile..i know that when you started training back in 100BC they only had rocks to lift. but you got to embrace the new technology. every good training program uses both freeweights and machines to work a muscle to its best.

Another thing I have noticed (even on the hammer strength) is that when it comes to seat adjustment, I think they made these things for 8 foot tall people. I mean, I am 5'10" and I always have to put the seat near the top to align my chest (or back) up correctly to the normal point of contraction. There is still about 18 inches of space below the bar where you can jack the seat down.

Well, I only work out the right side of my body...so this wouldn't really bother me. I'm like a living "before and after".

The ONLY equipment I have found to be worth the time is the Hammer system. Anything else is just you jerking off without changing hands.

cybex has a few decent machines, but yeah i agree hammer is the best out there as far as machines go.
