Do you like to open a car door for a girl? I spent the day with an old friend today, and he opened the truck door for me every time we would leave someplace. It was damn nice! SO do you guys do this, or is chivalry dead?

I open the door for ANY female getting into my car... Even if it's just a co-worker, and a bunch of us are going to lunch. Mr and my girl have been together for a long time, and I still open her door every time she gets in the car. My mother taught me to always open the door for a lady, so I do it. I guess I'm old school like that...

I usually pretend i'm about to hold a door open for a lady, until they are pretty close, then quickly slip in ahead of them, shut the door, hold it closed and do the robot right in front of the glass. I try to do it whenever I can, because I care.

I do, unless he has a remote that unlocks his door. My brother trained me well, lol.

I always open the door for my passengers. actually, I always unlock the door (since I don't have keyless entry) for guys and go to my side, but for the ladies, I open the door, wait until they get seated and then close the door. just something that I do.

I have a buddy whos gf will either sit in the car and wait, or stand at the door and wait, depending on wether they are coming or going, for him to open the door for her. Same with all restraunts, dates, whatnot when me and my wife have gone with them for, and he says its not just then, she does it all the time.
