Hey, you say that like it's a bad thing! The thing you gotta love about the ladies there is that either they are drop dead gorgeous or at least they TRY to do something with their appearance. I miss TX for many reasons and still have big hair on some days for old time's sake.

Alls I can say about the geography and streets is...GPS baby. But, then again I'm a chick so I don't leave home without it.

Have fun in Big D! I'm jealous.

Uhh HUhh, that part SUCKS! OK, Bro, go south 45, take LBJ west, right on N. Dallas Tollway and exit Beltline to the Left (West). Go about 4-5 blocks, you'll see a sports bar "Champs", go there anytime, but Sundays and when the Stars are playing, just remember to keep your mouth closed, the drivel is a dead givaway that you don't live there. That's the heart of N Dallas, any club/bar around should be fun, check to see what the Stars schedule is, hit most any club.
To get to Lower Greenville, take 45 south, exit Mockingbird and go left, couple blocks down is Greenville, take a right for a couple of blocks and park, and hit all the little clubs. My favorite place to eat is down there too, Aw Shucks, you'll prolly have to eat inside unless the weather changes, try and go when it's not cold and sit at a picnic table and watch the cars going on Greenville, order anything, it's all excellent. I usually start with a dozen raw (oysters, for those who didn't catch the name Aw Shucks) get the gumbo too, that shit is good, with a cold beverage of your choice of course.

Here is what Jeff Foxworthy has to say about folks from Texas...

If someone in a Lowe's store offers you assistance and they don't
work there, you may live in Texas;

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you may live in Texas;

If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who
dialed a wrong number, you may live in Texas; ( LOL, yep, and you usually know the number by heart that they meant to call...)

If 'Vacation' means going anywhere south of Dallas for the weekend, you
may live in Texas;

If you measure distance in hours, you may live in Texas;

If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you
may live in Texas;

If you install security lights on your house and garage, but leave
both unlocked, you may live in Texas;

If you carry jumper cables in your car and your wife knows how to use them, you may live in Texas;

If the speed limit on the highway is 55 mph -- you're going 80 mph and everybody's passing you, you may live in Texas;

If you find 60 degrees 'a little chilly,' you may live in Texas; (it was 31 this morning)

Here are some little known, very interesting facts about Texas

1. Beaumont to El Paso: 742 miles

Go to Addison (where Champ's is) if you are part of the older crowd (mid to late 20's) and come down to Lower Greenville if you want some of that barely legal SMU ass. It's the best.

I guess I'll go order my Hoveround and that step-in bathtub that you see advertised on TV, my days are numbered I see. At 48, I wonder if I should start scouting for a nice retirement home or assisted living? Anybody have any extra Polygrip!

Not to bag on Texas since I've lived here for the past 20 years and love it, but that's actually not true (the part about the flag height).

Imagine how many cement trucks showed up to that site.

You will like TX a lot. There are a lot of nice people unless you are in traffic. LOL That has and always will be my only compaint about living in TX and that is the traffic and all the road rage. People get really stressed from the traffic and are not too nice. I moved down here 8 yrs ago and I love it. I will be here until I die.

Bino, how long you gonna be here? you have WAY too much shit to do to be leaving anytime soon. ST right, if it get towards spring, basicly bathing suit weather, you have to take time to go where he said, Sneaky Pete's.
Of course you may run into somw retirement home groups there for the day, hell, groups of peeps well into their 20's and early 30's, so just beware!

Well, well, weeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllll.....

You finally made it to Texas. And yes you are correct about the DFW metroplex it is the fourth largest market in the United States and has an economy that is larger than that of many countries!!

We echo Txsbondsmen's question... how long you gonna be here?

Bino, answer us! How long are you here for? Are you by yourself? How much free time do you have and when do you have it, weekends, etc? We're trying to see if there's a way to get together, let us know what your doing.
Wify is going out of town for a week starting the 13th of Feb for a week, I was hoping that my schedule may allow me to get up that way, It is over 2 hours though, so it may be ricky seeing that I have my son....
