Guideline for shit I won't watch on TV

Okay, women wonder how we can flip through so many cable channels so fast without finding anything to watch. Well, here are my guidelines for "Shit I won't watch on TV". I think this is a pretty universal list for all men.

Any of the Following Channels will be changed immediately...
Lifetime
ABC Family
Home and Garden
WE (Women's Entertainment)
Any "Christian" channel
Disney Channel


Any of the following people will cause me to immediately change the channel...
Meredith Baxter Birney
Martha Stewart
Rosie O'Donnell
Any fat woman with a big mouth

Any of these scenes will cause me to change immediately...
Teens displaying "angst" while some trendy bleeding heart music plays loudly in the background.
Adults in some movie of the week "drama"
Musicals


Things I do want to watch on TV fall under these categories
Action
Sex
Sports
News
Comedy

I'll agree with all yours. The History and Sciene stuff falls under News for me. I love TLC and those type channels, especially when they have stuff on the military.

Things I do NOT watch on tv.

Sports - If it don't have a steel cage, flashy robes, half naked men, and grand entrance themes, it ain't a sport. And I will give anyone a chair shot who disagrees.

Fucking Star Trek - I have never understood this craze. I have never even seen one of the movies. First rule of Star Trek cadets.. never wear a red shirt. Those are the ones that always die or are captured.

The Comedy Channel sucks ass. That show about the four guys is fucking stupid. They all need to be publically executed for being on TV.

Rosie - who cares if she is gay? She's still fat.

News
Extreme Sports - you know, naked sky diving, etc..
If I have friends over and a bucket of margaritas, I will watch some of the old Sci Fi movies (Clash of the Titans, etc....)

Have you tried to watch that new show with Julia Louise-Dreyfuss or whatever her name is? It doesn't have a laugh track and it's not funny. Maybe if it did it would be more watchable. Then again maybe if it was funny it would be watchable.
