Growth plateu question

I have ran into a wall on my biceps. I change my routines up on a regular basis...I changes sets and reps. I go to complete failure. I have tried training 1 and 2 times per week. But my biceps have reached some kind of barrier (even on a cycle) to where they are not getting any stronger or growing. All other muscle groups are responding to my training changes other than biceps. I have been stuck at the same curl weight for forever and it still goes to failure
One thing that I am noticing is that during training, the only "burn" that I get is right at the very lower tip of the bicep above the elbow...but it burns sufficiently to go to failure...BUT, I am NEVER sore the next day. other body parts are sore for up to 5 day...but my biceps do NOT hurt even a few hours after my workout. And as far as a pump goes...the Pump is limited to the same area as the burn that I feel and the first couple of inches of my bicep actually sticks up higher than the "peak" of the bicep...go figure!

The only thing that I can think of that I have not tried is working them more than twice per week.

Any suggestions?

I hit a wall with bi's too. I was at 17". You might start to do very slow negatives at the end of each set. This worked well for me especially on preacher curls. I hold the weight and let down very very slow. I do this with dumbells also. I still dont get sore but they get stiff if I go all out. Lots of sets. Ive put on half inch to 17.5" in a month. Do hammers and straight bar too. Hope you have luck.

I gotta sread some more K around before I can give it to Tommy again...but thanks bro.

Ive just finished doing slow negatives in my last routine of about 10 weeks and still saw no noticable improvement in either strength or size...i just changed up and I am trying Xreps on this go round. They still do not get sore at all on the following day even though there is a serious lactic acid burn...If I don't soon see an improvement, I will try 3 days per weeks and just see what happens.

do u go to failure every set/ exersize? maybe thats your prob. just overtraining a small muscle group?

Yea it might help. I do arms tues and fri but sometimes i do them again on sunday with legs. I feel for you and like i said i too can just not get my arms sore only stiff the evening after working them. Im just glad the negatives and extreme intinsity have got mine growing a little again. I hope they dont stop again. I get sore everywhere else too. If you do start feeling your arms are just tired and maybe just dont feel energy at all in them when working out maybe 7 or 10 days off and hit em like a freight train.
