im 17 and im wondering if i could get a prescription from my doctor for some hgh,im only 168cm and i havent grown since i was 14,is it possible to get a prescription for this?because i dont think its normal to stop growing when youre 14.my shoulders are small too so i have stopped developing.

I think it's something like 4' 8" I'd check with the doc. He might say to wait til your 18-19 to see if you get a growth spurt. But it can't hurt to ask.

But seriously RebelRocker, I stopped growing when I was about 12, well in height that is. Dont sweat it, you may get a spurt. If you dont so what, being tall doesnt make a man, being a man makes a man. Short guys can pack on a shit load of mass and strength just like the tall guys. Just use it to your advantage.

have them check to see if you growth plates are closed (x-rays) if they are hgh will not help you at all if they are open hgh i think would help but you still could grow. I grew 4 inch from 16-20 and have heard of a lot more. do you have an heretity of late growth in your family

Growth hormone is very dangerous at your age. The earliest age for prescription I have heard of is 25. Your growth plates aren't even closed...the chances of you getting the sides everyone is afraid of is probably 500% higher than 25 year olds.

I would also stay away from any steroids period...they will prematurely close your growth plates. Just remember you can always pack on pounds later...but you can't ever grow in height again.

If you don't believe me fine....just hope you don't find out the hard way.

I don't think that you have a chance getting a script for gh. At 5' 6" you can pack on a lot of muscle and be a big mutta.

Silly rabbit, that is one of the main reasons of growth hormone. It allows growth in children who have tumors on there pituitary gland or have a none functioning gland. When given by a doctor, the main side effect of GH in children was lukemia, but that was rare, but there was enough cases of it, that they determined that if an individual was predisposed to lukemia, the GH has a possibilty of invoking it. But given by a doctor and having 3 month checkups, there is little if any complications.
