Growth Hormone for 54 year old...

A good friend of mine is getting back into bodybuiding after a few years off and is now wondering about taking Growth Hormone. I know NOTHING about hgh so I told him I'd check with you guys to get some information. What do you think? Thanks!

Start him out slow 4-6iu/day 5on 2off for min 12 weeks. MOD and Ironmaster will be much more helpful, so ill just keep it bumped.

HGH will be fine for him at that age. I suggest he get it through a Doctor however. He will easily qualify for hormone replacement and can use his insurance to pay for it.

GH is an excellent choice for your friend. GH is unique in it's ability to cause dramatic changes in body composition - leaness - which is especially difficult for older weight trainers to achieve. At his age, your friend produces 60% less natural growth hormone than a man in his 20's.
Used alone, GH will result in an 8 to 12% change in body comp. at theraputic levels. Use with insulin and steroids will result in increased lean muscle mass as well. Oral steroids will cause a release of insulin growth factors (IGF-1)on the first pass through the liver.
GH is injected subcutaneously, in the abdomen area.
I have found that a 12 week cycle is necessary to really see the desired results. I generally do three 12 week cycles a year, 4.5iu ED for the first month, 6iu the second, and 8 or 9iu the third month, along with light insulin supplementation(exogenous GH causes insulin resistance), and plenty of test.
Large doses are not necessary.......average adult male production is only .5 to 1.5iu a day, so even 4iu is quite a bump.
I am 53, and have used this type cycle for a long time.
