I brought this up on the fitness select board and thought some of you might like to comment on it.

I think that the posting of another members picture or link to
that member's picture, without their aproval should result
in an immediate and permanent ban from elite.

your just upset about smalls picture being passed around. i agree i don't like the idea, but that seems a little harsh. also they should realise that once you post things on the internet they will be passed around forever!

I have a question before I answer. If someone doesn't want their pictures seen, why are they on the web?

I must agree.

As long as the "guilty" party doesn't doctor the pic in some offensive way, I don't see the big deal.

I just feel that most of these posts are an attempt to
embarrass and humiliate members.

There should be a line that you can't cross.

OK- but If someone has a picture of arnold then they should have his permission also wouldn't one think or HHH or the Rock etc. Why would basically a no-name have those rights over someone who is lets say famous. I think it should be the other way around.

Sure asking permission is the right thing, but the better thing is to not upload or email your pictures if you don't want them passed around.

In addition, I assert that the administrator should post a thread stating specifically why a member was banned.

PSB you hit it on the nose!

I think if the person has their picture on the web, it should be able to be posted on here, unless it's been edited in some way. Like the picture of whats her name getting fucked by a dog.

Agreed....but people make mistakes in judgement all the
time. They should not have it thrown in their face, along
with some very childish comments, that I know the person
making, would not have the guts to make in person.

Ummm... let me just say one litte thing. NO ONE SHOULD BE BANNED.

Thanks

And anyone who calls for others to be banned is a chicken shit pussy.

B.O.S. I recently posted a thread here regarding some porn my son had come accross on a childrens cartoon sight. Slack3r replied with a stupid cock sucker reply, I reported him and said he should be banned for his stupididy alone.
So where is the line in the sand where we say 'thus far shall thou go and no further' ?.
Or what about the stupid fuck who sent someone bad karma here and said they felt sorry for her because her kids were ugly, it was unsigned, the author of that should be banned. There's just two example's were I would'nt miss seeing those stupid cocksuckers grace e/f.com again.

If someone posts a pic on a public forum - it is hard for me to say that another person can't then post it too. even altering it is hard to argue.
but if you go to someone's personal site and get them, or if you post to the board what someone gave you privately via e-mail in good confidence, then that is far worse....

and unfortunately, it probably depends on the person.
you could make a picture of me having sex with a cow and I wouldn't care and likely laugh my ass off.
but other people get far more offended by that...
