Ground Beef

I am wondering how much ground beef to eat daily. How much a day is unhealthy? I find it very cheap to use it to bulk up, but I am a little scared about the saturated fat. I have a George Foreman grill I use and am wondering if i subtract any fat from the beef because of its ability to grill away the fat? A little confused, just would like some confirmation on the plus and minuses about ground beef before i shovel 2 lbs a day down my pie hole. thanx

There is no set amount that can be deemed unhealthy. Yes, it's a cheap source of protein and calories. However, the saturated fat is not your biggest worry. Yeah the grill helps, not much, but it's better then nothing. You'll be fine w/ 2lbs. a day, I used to eat 5lbs. a day.

If you know someone who deer hunts, see if they will hook you up with some ground deer meat. It is very lean and tastes alot like beef. Cheeper than beef also .
