Grip width on shoulder presses?

Wyllis

New member
What is the best grip width on barbell should presses?

I only use dumbell presses at the moment any advice would be sound.

The wider your grip on shoulder presses, the shorter your range of motion. I keep mine shoulder width, maybe slightly wider. That'll get your elbows down nice and low to get the most out of the excercise.

Definitely bro I would say something just outside shoulder-width grip to really drop the bar down low and fully contract the delts. Good luck!

Middle fingers are 24" apart for me...which is not quite shoulder width for me:) I train this way because that is the grip width on most logs used for overhead presses.
