Graveyard....

I'd probably workout after. I guess it depends when you wake, though. If you wakeup at 8-9 PM, then workout after. You figure you're up 16 hours in a day. Wakeup at 9 AM. By 6 AM, after work, you'll only have been up for 9 hours. At this point, you should be ready to hit the weights and be up another 7 hours before bed. That'll give you time to get in a nice PW meal, and another meal with carbs an hour later.

I don't think it makes too big a deal, though. Whenever you feel ready to hit the weights. The important parts should be taken care of no matter what. Train. Eat. Rest.

I think it all depends on what kind of job it is. If it werent labor intensive, then i would train before. Plus, i suspect you will be tired as hell by morning.

i think before, go to bed at 7 am, wake up at 3-4 eat, work out, eat, nap, eat then go to work at 10. eat before u go to bed too

I've been working graveyard (11 pm- 8 am) for nearly two years now. I've tried lifting after work, but I'm usually far too tired by this point for any serious training. I sleep between 10 am - 5pm, and workout at 7 or 8 pm. That way I'm well rested, but I still give my body enough time to recuperate for the long night ahead (which involves alot of heavy dock work).
