Grandma's Apple Cake

I'm sitting here eating my grandmother's apple cake. It's only THE greatest apple dessert known to man and I'm loving every minute of it. Polish cookin rocks. I'm supposed to be watching what I eat but this is temptation I can't resist.

Funny how this food makes me always think how, one day, my grandmother won't be around. She's very unhealthy right now, too. Everyone who reads this--If your grandparents are still alive, call them today, just to say hi.

GParents are long gone and my mom and Mom Inlaw are getting up there in age... 70+

Every Thanksgiving when my Mom in Law cooks a Penn. Dutch Meal, I wanna cry thinking how many more years she will be able to put in all the work.

My Wife is learning as many tricks as she can to carry it on...

Not speaking for everyone but my grandmother is a pain in the ass and doesn't cook shit. She is noosy and always thinks I'm up to no good (which sometimes I am but mind your business bitch.) Always up my shit, real annoying, always assuming I'm lying and shit. I don't like being called a liar and what not. My grandmother pisses everyone else off too.

I work with old women and all they do is piss me off there too. You might think I am an easy person to piss off but how come old people do it so easily to me. Sometimes their slow walking and slow wit is enough to get to me.
