Just got a notice in the mail that a company I used to work for settled a class action suit surrounding the treatment and environment it places its employees in.

Bottom line is I got $1,100 coming just because I worked there during a certain time period.

Maybe Ill finally get to buy that hamster I always wanted.

at one time i as taking vioxx for a slipped disk. well obviously my doc took me off of it. shortly after i got several letters from attorneys everywhere wanting me to call for a free consultation. then she put me on bextra, and the same thing happened. now im on mobic, and just waiting.

Just basic shit I did without complaining...working some hours off the clock (it was a commission job), not asking for reimbursement for cleaning my uniform, etc.

Whoever filed the suit went all out.

I've gotten several letters for class action lawsuits, one for EBay, which I decided to opt out of, and also one for Net Flix, where I get a free months subscription.

Eh, works for me. I'd rather get some cash though.
