Got ripped off by ebay

I purchased a $500 Sears Gift Card from someone on EBay. That was ten days ago and the card still hasn't shown. I asked the assclown if he got delivery confirmation or tracking and he told me no. Now he won't answer my emails. $450 has been pulled from my bank account and no card. I am so pissed. I filed a complaint with PayPal and Ebay won't let me until tomorrow.

Anyone else ever get shafted by someone on Ebay and what was the result of it.

well... I used to sell, get a load of this, wickedweasel clothing on ebay... got all the way up to couple of thousands positive remarks, before getting bored with it... never had an issue...

anyway, I ALWAYS paid close attention to whom I was selling or from where I was buying... the reviews are there for a reason.

In any case, there are peeps in this site who actually made or make a living on ebay, so their advice will come in handy....

Its not that I received a less than acceptable purchase. I didn't receive the purchase peiod. I am out 450 and kind of pissed and want to try and recoop my losses.

I deal a lot with eBay ass clowns. If you paid via PayPal, you'll get reimbursed within 30 days.

After all the bidding B.S. and the shills they have in place to push
up the bid price, you are usually better off just buying it online 95%
of the time for new stuff at least..

I agree with ylifter on this too. I like cycle and auto trader better. You know what the price is and you haggle with the person directly on the phone.

My brother once bought an autographed Curtis Joesph jersey on e-bay. When it arrived, there was no certificate of authenticity and the sig didn't match one he had on a card. He was 15 and learned a valuable lesson. Poor kid was heart broken though.

did the seller have 100% feedback? if so chill out a bit. 10 days out you probably should have received it. HOWEVER i shipped something to florida one time and it took 3 weeks to get there. the postal service isn't always right on top of things. your item may still come
