Got My Test Results From Doc.....

All I got tested so far was my liver and kidney values along with my heart and some other tests that I didn't even know what they were. Today he called me and said that everything looked pretty good. The only problem was he said that my pottasium level was a little lower than normal. What if anything could I take to help bring this back to normal?? I have to go back and see him in a couple of months to get tested again to see if it's back by then.

Yea, obviously I'm going to increase my pottasium intake. I should have phrased the question better. How and or why did my pottasium levels drop lower then the usual?? It's not like I changed my diet by taking in less potasium??

steriod use depletes pottasium , i am not sure why, but if you notice yourself bruising easiily after injections, thats a sure sign its low, you should maintain a healthy potassium intake while on AAS in the first place,

Dont betoo concerned if it is a little low..the the low and high
thresholds seem to vary between physician and lab.. mine runs consistently around 3.3to 3.4 and our lab calls low 3.6..I have seen other docs and labs call 3.4-3.5 low..as long as you dont spend too much time in the 3.1-3.2 range you are ok.. if you take a multi vite and eat well + occ sport drinks you are getting plenty of potassium. if your K+ ( potassium) runs below 3.0 consistently may want to look at your kidney function.. cheers
